Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tyler South
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 14, 2013

Priceline gave me a great deal. The free hotel breakfast was above average. They had ham, eggs, pancakes, waffles, toast, cinnamon rolls, bagels, toast, cereal, juice, milk, and yogurt. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff was awesome and they hotel pantry had reasonably priced food and snacks. We were hungry after everything closed on Christmas Eve and it was a life saver. ...

We stayed in Tyler because it was near the Canton Flea Market, but not out in the boonies. The motel was everything we wanted. The breakfast bar was well tended and the lady kept it fresh, clean and neat. The room was cool and the shower was great.

Very convenient location. Free parking. Free wi-fi. Free breakfast. Not a great breakfast, but not bad at all for free.

The hotel was very nice. It had a huge grand lobby, large open bar area, gift shop, dress shop, flower shop and coffee bar. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Location was easy to find. It is located close to everything. Very safe location. It is good for traveling alone or with kids. The room was very large. The sheets are high thread count and very very soft, not the old stiff cotton sheets and the other hotels. The bedding and pillows were great as well. The bed was not super soft but was not to firm either, it was OK. They only grip I have is it took about 5 to 10 minutes for the water to warm up and thats all it did was warm up. It was not hot by no means but it worked OK. There was only 2 wash clothes for 2 of us. It would have been nice to have 2 for each of us. I am sure if I asked they would have done so but we only stayed 2 nights and did not spend much time in the room. I would recommend this hotel for sure. It does live up to its 4 star name. Just remember its and older hotel but its been nicely renovated.
