Family Traveling with Young Children
Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was clean. Hotel is fairly new. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Pool was closed, but they let us use the nearby hotels pool. My kid enjoyed swimming in it.

Solo Traveler
Good for a savvy traveler. Located off the strip at its south end, not very far from Mandalay Bay. They have a free shuttle service to Mandalay each 1/2 hour and to MGM each hour. The shuttle is free but the driver expect you to tip $1-5. Complimentary breakfast from 7 AM till 10:30 AM. Not a large choice of food, but good enough for most not picky people. Laundry is $1 for washer or dryer, one load of detergent is $1.5 at lobby. They have 1 very slow computer with the same slow Internet free of charge in lobby. Laser b&w printer is there too -good for printing online coupons or e-mails. Overall - not bad. ...

The Polaris Ave Holiday Inn Express is a nice hotel with expected amenities. The free breakfast and shuttle service to the MGM, Mandalay Bay casinos or airport was very appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.
