Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express Las Vegas South
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 3, 2013

Complimentary breakfast was great. The hotel and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking is free and there were plenty of spaces. You have a good view of the strip from the hotel parking lot. The shuttle to the strip stops at Mandalay Bay every half hr and New York New York every hr. Those are the only stops, so if you want to go to another part of the strip you either have to walk A LOT or arrange other transportation. That is the only complaint I have, I wish the shuttle made more stops. ...

I loved the free breakfast that was included with eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, juice, etc. It was only a few minutes drive to the strip. The beds were comfortable enough and my family loved the pool.

PRO-There was a shuttle that took us to the strip and that was wonderful to not have to worry about finding parking. The buffet in the morning was amazing and the staff was also very helpful. CON-The room was just small and not much to it. It would have been nice to have at least a mini fridge. The tv was smaller than most every other hotel we stay at.

The front desk guy Robert was very helpful in trying to accomodate my party even though there wasnt room for us. He was visually stressed when we arrived, but still remained extremely professional.. I obviously had made the reservation in advance via priceline, but when we arrived, they didnt have any rooms to accomodate the four of us. Two pro BMX riders, their bikes, myself and my daughter in a room with one bed and a twin pull out sofa? With one sleeping on the floor I do believe that I paid way too much for the room for two nights. The housekeeping did not come one time during our two night stay. **I did mention earlier that I had to BMX riders with us, so we had a need for towels and linens. Not enough blankets, sheets or pillows. Plus there was hair in the shower BEFORE we used it. Just the absolute second worst experience in Vegas I have had. Won't be back . ...

Newer building. Location is not so good and is not safe to walk at night. walking in hallways of the hotel I was smelling weed from several rooms. Coffee maker in the room was not cleaned. someone had put the coffee and filter in where you have to fill with water, it had molded and was green! I found out unfortunately after making a coffee which turned out to be the worst taste I have ever experienced in my life for a coffee! Manager was trying to make it look like it was not a big deal! ...

The room was comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was good, although some more fruit would be nice (there were only bananas). The staff at the continental breakfast were friendly and helpful. The airplanes were loud.
