Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express Miami International Airport

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The complementry transportation van from the Hotel arrived at MIA airport and the driver was helpful and friendly.

If you select this hotel call and find out if the free shuttle is available when you land at MIA and when you plan to exit. This will save you from purchacing an un-necessary and un-refundable voucher.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Good price.
Far from main tourist areas, crowded breakfast.

Great hotel if you are flying into or out of MIA. Otherwise, it's better to stay closer to downtown and the beaches. Miami traffic is terrible and there are lots of toll roads. The free breakfast area gets very crowded and it's hard to find a place to sit.

Small lobby, no sitting area except next to the front door, disappointed in the breakfast because the HOT FOODS, a pancake maker didn't work, pool was in another hotel. Two elevators which were very slow and worst was when one broke.

Just a place to sleep it for the price I would go elsewhere

On my way out of the country I spent the night at the Sleep Inn and that was such a negative experience that Holiday Inn Express was like a 5 star!!
It would be nice if there were pillows in the room that were flatter (possibly have one available in the closet?)

The Holiday Inn Express room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and had a good variety. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The fact that an IHOP was just across the driveway was a plus.

The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful and the hotel was surprisingly nice. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were extremely well kept.

Hotel was very close to the airport, appeared to be recently refurbished. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and rooms were very clean. Water pressure was a little weak and hallways were very slightly damp. Continental breakfast looked very good and was in a very nice eating area, though I did not eat breakfast at the hotel. I had rented a car, so I do not have any feedback on the shuttle to the hotel. ...read more

The female staff person who initially greeted us upon arrival was extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly.
There was nothing nearby in the way of shopping, eating, etc. (with the exception of an IHOP next door). It was located conveniently close to the airport, however, which was our main goal.

Staff helpful ..even. Called custodian to fix my walker that was smashed on my delta flight helped get clients to port in time . Breakfast adequate with helpful staff. Only comment: i asked specifically for walk in shower and was told i had one. Room had tub- shower. Luckily bars in tub. But....still could have slipped!

less than desirable neighborhood but close to airport and cruiseport
bed was very comfortable-

great sports bar with very good food just a few doors away- one elevator was a little scary- thumped and clunked! -chair in room not very clean but rest of room was clean. Breakfast not great but okay

Convenient for transfer to the cruise port.
They closed half the parking lot justto pwerwash the sidewalk. This made access awkward

It is crucial to distinguish the Holiday Inn Express at the airport from the Holiday Inn at the airport. Even the shuttle driver did not clarify this when picking up passengers, which resulted in extra time and money to get to the right property - just down the street.
