Great hotel if you are flying into or out of MIA. Otherwise, it's better to stay closer to downtown and the beaches. Miami traffic is terrible and there are lots of toll roads. The free breakfast area gets very crowded and it's hard to find a place to sit.

Just a place to sleep it for the price I would go elsewhere

The Holiday Inn Express room was clean and comfortable,breakfast was plentiful and had a good variety. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The fact that an IHOP was just across the driveway was a plus.

Hotel was very close to the airport, appeared to be recently refurbished. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and rooms were very clean. Water pressure was a little weak and hallways were very slightly damp. Continental breakfast looked very good and was in a very nice eating area, though I did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Staff helpful ..even. Called custodian to fix my walker that was smashed on my delta flight helped get clients to port in time . Breakfast adequate with helpful staff. Only comment: i asked specifically for walk in shower and was told i had one. Room had tub- shower. Luckily bars in tub. But....still could have slipped!

great sports bar with very good food just a few doors away- one elevator was a little scary- thumped and clunked! -chair in room not very clean but rest of room was clean. Breakfast not great but okay

It is crucial to distinguish the Holiday Inn Express at the airport from the Holiday Inn at the airport. Even the shuttle driver did not clarify this when picking up passengers, which resulted in extra time and money to get to the right property - just down the street.
