Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Express Seattle City Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great location close to our destination. Decent breakfast in the morning, and clean enough room.
Yes. The staff on our last day were trying to make us take a town car. At first he quoted us, then increased the amount, so but I said I would just get a taxi... He said a taxi would cost more than the town car, but it ended up being a third of the price.

I think the hotel is ok, but some of the staff are not great, and I would just walk or take taxis from there-dont use the hotel vehicle option.

Afternoon and night staffs were friendly and helpful. Breakfast area and food were very good. The location was near to some attractions.
The room was cleaned the first time when we checked in but the maid did not clean the room for the next two days. We could hear the person who was above us walking frequently around his room.

the hot tub in the room is the only good thing about my stay.
The TV stopped working, and I got woken up by the cleaning staff walking into my room early in the morning. Very dissapointing.

friendly helpful staff
A bit noisy at night

This hotel is adequate. It's a short walk to many great local sights and activities so it suited us for our short trip to Seattle. Breakfast was good.

hotel view and location was excellent. rooms were very clean
our room did not have a microwave or fridge. the website said that it did have both. also no hot tub for relaxing in. staff did not tell us that there is a $10 per night parking so when we checked out we had a $20 charge that we were not expecting.

not a good hotel for families who keep leftovers or who would like to heat up food in a microwave. hotel cleaning crew kept trying to open our door at 830 am to clean, once without knocking....

It was a very nice place. The location was good. I liked the breakfast.
Having to pay extra for parking.

This was a nice hotel. The staff was very helpful and the location was great for seeing the town.

I was disappointed! The a/c quit working and staff just waved it off. Hardly slept because the room was too hot.
No a/c and staff.

Check the a/c before you pay for your room.

The rooms were clean and organized well.
It was absolutely packed and it seemed like the staff and the space couldn't handle full capacity. There were LINES for the elevator. When we decided to just take the stairs instead, there were LINES for the stairwell. Also a huge line for breakfast.

It is attached to a regular Holiday Inn. There is a restaurant in the Holiday Inn and it claims to give specials. However, do not be fooled into ordering and expecting the discounts. They do not extend these specials to the Holiday Inn Express that is connected to it!

The location was good for walking the Needle tourist area. The breakfast was well supplied and food was restocked both times we visited. Best thing was the underground parking for only $10/night.
Fairly limited parking area. If you leave to return later in the evening, you may have to park off site in an overflow parking lot. The area is not one for walking around safely at night.

Breakfast buffet was of great variety, including pancakes, warm cinnamon rolls, fruit, egg/meat on a rotating menu of choices. It is "keyed" to enter, so you must remember to bring your room card to enter! Good location for walking to the Seattle Center attractions including the Space Needle, etc.
