Holiday Inn Express Swansea

The hotel was rated a 2 or 3 but I thought it was a 4 or 5. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the beauty of the entrance way when we first came into the hotel. The front desk staff, kitchen staff and housekeeping was the best!!!!!!!!Kudos to the staff at the hotel.

Good value for a very nice place to stay.

Friendly and helpful staff and reasonably convenient location (but not easy to find, use GPS). Rooms about what you would expect. But not well insulated, acoustically.

This is a very nice hotel. The complimentary breakfast was better than at most hotels I stated at. I had a good experience and would stay here again if I were in the area.

Housekeeping was not good. Room not vacuumed thoroughly. toe nail clippings and food and seeds found on carpet. Black hair on bathroom floor and on the blankets folded over the bed. Dust in cabinet where television was housed.

The gentleman that checked us in, and out, was delightful. the room was clean and I felt safe even getting under the covers; something that I hesitant to do at hotels. I slept well, appreciated the variety of pillow choices. Nice breakfast room.

THEY ALLOWED A FRIEND OF MINE TO ENTER MY ROOM WHEN I WAS NOT PRESENT. THEY NEVER GAVE ME A CLEAR ANSWER HOW THIS HAPPENED. THEY CLAIMED SHE HAD A KEY, HOWEVER, I HAD BOTH KEYS WITH ME AND BOTH KEYS HAD BEEN REKEYED THAT MORNING SO I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE GOT IN. THEY STATED THAT THEY SEEN HER COME IN WITH ME. OH, SO IF I COME INTO THE HOTEL WITH ANYONE THEY ARE ALLOWED TO COME BACK WITHOUT ME AND ENTER MY ROOM WHEN I'M NOT THERE???? CLOSETS HAD NO DOORS AND THERE WAS TISSUES IN THE PEEPHOLE.
