Room was nice, bed was comfortable, more street noise than I would have liked, but I was exhausted so sleep came easy. Pool area was very nice. Check in was very slow, but seemed like it was caused by strange requests from those ahead of us in line than the staff. We did not have a car, so not a lot of options to go for dinner. We stayed here as an overnight after our cruise to get a much cheaper flight the next morning. They don't pick up at the port, so we did a tour (to kill some time) and got dropped off at the airport, and then took the hotel shuttle ...

I would never stay at this hotel. While staff was responsive when I brought up shuttle and a/c issue, ultimatel the experience was terrible. All I wanted was to get to the hotel easily, then be comfortable in the room. They failed miserably on both counts.

The hotel is old and dated. The staff isn't particularly helpful in providing information about the surrounding area. When we asked for information or advice they sent us (by cab) to far away places, but when we were in the cab we saw closer locations.
Shuttle service is poor. We stayed there prior to a cruise, and they told us cab far to the cruise port is $36, the hotel charges $8/pp. After making us wait an hour and a half for the shuttle, only to find out it left without us at the scheduled time, we took a cab, which was faster, easier and only $18, half of what they quoted us.
On there drive to the cruise port, we saw many more closer hotels, that had shopping and restaurants close by. There are a lot of better options than this old, out of date, hotels that are more convenient for people without a car. ...
