Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.September 14, 2012

The best thing about this hotel is its convenient location very close (within a short walking distance)to Glasgow airport. Bar and food service were both very slow and the bar/restaurant staff did nothing to make guests feel welcome. The internet charges are outrageously high and accompanied by apologies from the front desk staff who clearly find this embarrassing!

The Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport is a good, quality hotel for travelers to stay right next to the airport. The drawbacks include the fact that internet service is not free nor is it reliable, the shower wasn't perfectly clean. The hotel parking lot is tiny so you're likely to have to use the airport lots which are pricey (use Lot 2, not Lot 1. Otherwise, the hotel can't even get you a discount).

First room allocated smelt of smoke, yet we requested a non-smoking room. Wake up system difficult to set and inaudible so useless.

This hotel is made for travelers arriving at or leaving from Glasgow Airport. It is literally right across the street from arrivals/departures and down the road (easy walk) from the car rentals. I look for hotels (at any star rating) that are new or recently remodeled. This hotel is not, but I found it very acceptable in terms of maintanence and cleanliness - except for the faint smoke smell in our room, though not in our sons' room. The guest rooms and bathrooms are not large but are quite adequate for a short stay. For whatever reason, there was no noise from the airport (and we were on the 8th floor), though the doors closed loudly. The parking lot is tiny, but, if you have a rental car, you can perhaps pick up or drop off before or after your stay. ...

It's not fancy but well kept. My room was clean and adequate. It seems like a good choice for business travel. Especially if you have an early flight. Then it's unbeatable.

We needed a hotel close to the airport for our early morning flight and this fit the bill (it's about 100 feet door to door). Room service food was not very good, but got the job done. Only shampoo and soap in the bathroom, and the shower did not work so we had to use the very tiny bathtub instead. WiFi was expensive. Room was cramped, but for a business traveler or someone just staying briefly before flying out, it's fine. ...
