Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Madrid
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.October 5, 2011

Room cleanlieness was excellant, furniture was comfortable, bathroom was clean and modern. The restaurant was very nice but, what was once an upscale restaurant has been closed and only the smaller terrase restaurant ws utilized.

This hotel is a good price for Madrid as things are expensive there. However, that's all that is good about it. It is old, poorly maintained, in a difficult location, beds are uncomfortable, everything is old and well used, the buffet breakfast is really expensive. I could go on but you get the picture.

The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable, but not near the downtown area of Madrid. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the gym was great. The restaurant, however, was not the best.

Beautiful, clean, spacious rooms and helpful. English speaking desk staff make the Holiday Inn a good choice, especially if a Real Madrid futbol game at the nearby Bernabeu stadium is in your plans. The hotel is located in a newer, less interesting part of the city but a convenient nearby Metro station makes access to the rest of Madrid easy. Eat breakfast at a nearby bar instead of the overpriced hotel restaurant. The Italian restaurant around the corner on Avenida Peron is a good, reasonably priced choice for dinner. ...

Very nice hotel. Great breakfast. However, the staff at the front desk was not accommodating to the guests when it came to customer service.
