Based off of online comments, some of which were very negative, I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased that we experienced none of those. The beds were very comfortable, the staff was friendly, the breakfast dining experience excellent.
We have no complaints
Don't believe the negative comments made about the beds being uncomfortable or the staff unfriendly. We were expecting a marginal experience and were very pleased that it far surpassed our expectations.

whoever gave this hotel 3 stars obviously didnt stay there. the first room we were put in had water pouring from the ceiling when showering, the next room's heat wouldnt work, the 3rd room was ok but frustrated by then.
they had a bar as you walk past the front desk. it is very loud. people leaving the bar was blocking the hallway to rooms. i dont see how the people at the front desk can work because it is so loud. need to be either a bar or a hotel.
i dont recommend staying here. rooms were clean but that was the only good thing about staying here.

Location, great hot breakfast, smooth checkin and check out
Long wait for food in restaurant, potatoes partially baked, had to send back. No ice cream on the menu, we asked, and the next table guests were overheard also asking for ice cream. Waitress told us that no one asks for it! Walleye was done

It was fairly close to center of Marietta.
The blandness of the hotel and rooms and the ugliness of its location.
i found nothing of interest in this hotel, its architecture was bland and ugly.

Thank God the new hotel down the road just opened up,since the holiday inn used to be the best rated on priceline
