The staff was ok. The rooms location was not the greatest.
The location of the hotel, too many people.

Very close to mayor highway, not to quiet for a good rest unless maybe you in the back rooms. My view was the a/c units on roof.! In lobby very loud due to the casino area. But besides all its OK.....

I get what I paid for.
1. Entrance not easy to identify. 2.Noisy AC cannot be turned off even if temperature is set to 90.

Nothing great, but nothing bad, you get what you pay for.

Pool and pool area very nice and big.
Casino was very loud. Very poor and expensive restaurant inside hotel, had to look outside hotel for dinner.

It had a big parking lot, included in the fare.
The carpet of the room was dirty, and had a goey like substance that required thorough cleaning. The bed was a little soft. The room was small, and also was the bathroom. No safety box at the bedroom.

It is a road hotel. Very poor experience compared to other Holiday Inns I have stayed at. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty, and the room and bathroom were very small. The staff was helpful, but know almost nothing about the area so as to make a recommendation for visiting.

The staff went out of their way to help us find a local attraction and to provide us with directions.
The carpeting is old and smelly throughout the hotel. The smell of carpet freshener and cleaning product is overwhelming. There are homes adjacent to the rear of the hotel, and the neighbors' chickens and roosters made quite a commotion at 4:00 AM which c

Holiday Inn Mayagüez has a casino. It is in a safe location. There is an outdoor pool with handicapped access. You cannot get to the ocean from this hotel. It is an older hotel, and the carpets in the lobby, the hallways, and the hotel room smell like freshener. The neighborhood chickens and roosters will awaken light sleepers and those who leave the windows open. It is Puerto Rico, so the chickens are typical. We chose not to spend much time at the hotel and we enjoyed spending time in the Mayagüez area even though we were not impressed with this hotel. ...read more
