Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Midtown New York
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Great location near the restaurant row of 9th Ave. and easy walking distance to both Central Park and Times Square/Theatre District. Big room and relaxed policy in terms of allowing extra young adult on air mattress at no charge. Would definitely stay here again!

For a 3 star hotel in a New York it was fine. A little dated but nothing to put anybody off staying here. What was good was the location and the Car Park adjoining the hotel. We drove down from Boston straight to the car park - very easy and convenient. The room was very big - we had our teenagers staying with us so requested a roll away bed which worked out great. The in-room heater did a good job and the shower worked well. What more do you need? We enjoyed our stay. ...

The hotel was run down. There was mold in the bathroom. Plates were left in the hallway all day. The restaurant was horrible and the staff was unfriendly. The only good thing about this hotel was the location. It was so bad it almost ruined our trip. We dreaded going back to sleep there.
