Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wyndham New Orleans - French Quarter
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 17, 2013

Try to avoid driving here because a) driving in this part of New Orleans is awful and b) parking fees are exorbitant. Not much handy in the way of breakfast in the area -- I had to go with Subway, and my other choice was McDonald's.

Definitely recommend this hotel to people who want access to the French Quarter. Was affordably priced and was right in the middle of the action.

AC smelled of mildew. The location is a in a rough area of New Orleans, but people should expect and urban experience.
This was in a great location, if you are up for an urban experience and being close to Bourbon Street, which a dirty. There are fantastic things to do within a short walk from this hotel, if you just do a little investigating.

Do not accept any downtown hotels that say they are 3 star because you will end up paying ridiculous prices for daily parking.

Mold in bathroom shower, dirty floors, $26 unattended parking, attendants were okay- not very friendly...would not recommend this hotel.

If you want to party on Bourbon Street on a budget, this hotel is perfect for you. If you're looking for a convention center hotel, it's too far to be convenient and will most-likely end with you woken up by drunk people in the hallway. The rooms are clean enough, and are consistent with the price point.

While the immediate location is not classy (one block off Canal Street on Royal. You could not ask for a better price (for a good hotel) for being located in the quarter. The hotel itself was excellent, with large rooms, free wifi and clean. It was the best bang for the buck I've ever had in the quarter, except parking as a guest is $26 a day. Seems steep to me.

The hotel staff is very helpful and pleasant. The room are very nice for the price point. The lobby is small and very busy.
