Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wyndham New Orleans - French Quarter

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel was beautiful and at the perfect location for me because it was my first visit to New Orleans. I also loved the safety provided by the inability to get to a room level without a key card.
The cleaning staff did not come to the room until the day we left and we had to reuse multiple towels. Also, when the cleaning staff came they threw away our souvenir cups from all the cool diners that we went to.

It was wonderful. Wish it was a little cleaner.

The location is probably the best aspect of this hotel.
Very crowded and needs to be updated, especially the rooms.

Very nice and clean. Walking distance from many sites.
I was not aware that parking cost $26 additional a night.

Nice place to stay with many conveniences close by.

The convenience to entertainment.
The surprise parking fee.

The hotel offers comfort and convenience. The pillows are great.

Location, location, location.
Old rooms, old decorations.

The Holiday Inn in the French Quarters is more about the location than the hotel itself. The lobby, rooms, and electronics could use an update. However the hotel's prime location makes up for flaws in its aesthetics. It's a Holiday Inn in the French Quarters.

The only redeeming quality about this hotel was the location.
The room was poor, uncomfortable bed, found long hairs in the bed and shower. I'm a buzz cut male so
I know they weren't mine.

I
would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I have stayed at this hotel before and don't remember it being so grotesque. As stated earlier long hairs found everywhere, the furniture was that of a motel 6. The internet was horrible slow.

Perfect location, affordable, clean and accommodating.
Elevators are very slow, long lines form, its annoying.

A
perfect hotel to stay in as a Nola tourist. walking distance of all the cool stuff in the French quarter. Its clean and modern. This is the second time
I stayed here and definitely recommend it.

Clean, safe and an excellent location just off Burbon and Canal streets. Great for a woman traveling alone or for a family.
The restaurant was awful. The food was stale and the service was non-existent.

The hotel is a standard Holiday Inn located in the French Quarter - If you are looking for a room with French Quarter charm, this is not your place. However if you are looking for a clean, safe hotel located in the heart of the Quarter with friendly and knowledgeable staff, this is a good pick. The rooms are spacious compared to some other rooms in the French Quarter (standard size room vs. very small boutique style hotels in the area). The added security of requiring a key for elevator access was also reassuring. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Nola! ...read more
