Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Oakville

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff are professional and friendly
Rooms that have windows onto atrium can hear a lot of noise from banquet facilities. Should avoid these rooms on Fridays and Saturdays.

Loved the room, the staff, the location, and the great sleep I eventually got after moving rooms.
Not sure if I were just unfortunate, but I was placed on a floor where most of the patrons were a part of high school semi formal. The noise was insane and eventually after calling down to the front desk 3 times, I was offered another room.

I would suggest that if you are going to a hotel so that you can get some rest while on a business trip make sure you ask if the floor you have been put on isn't infested with partying teenagers.

Very modern interior. Not the Holiday Inn I remember. More like a Marriott or Sheriton.
I exceeded my expectations

Would highly recommend.

Everyone in this hotel seemed to be confused about what time check out was. I had house keeping knocking at my door at 11am telling me to evacuate the room. When I checked with the front desk they said check out was at 12.

The only thing that is slightly misleading is that when I had booked a room it was for two double beds, when I asked for one bed the hotel went on to charge me an extra 15 + tax if I wanted one bed...which I found completely absurd. Having to pay for one bed instead of two... come again? Once again, I'm not too pleased about the miscommunication between house keeping and the front desk, it was annoying having to wake up to someone trying to open your room door and then practically having an anxiety attack while house keeping was telling me to leave my room at 11am when I was still half asleep. Then, having to call the front desk to clarify what the heck was going on...it's not my job to do that. ...read more

Very classy in all respects.
When we went down for the complementary breakfast we were told that Priceline guests did not qualify. Breakfast was clearly included when we applied to Priceline.

Very new and clean room. Convenient location. Helpful staff. Great night sleep.
The one and only thing was receiving a room with twin beds when we were an obvious couple enjoying a per-valentine night out. We requested a queen online but needed to go back to the front desk to correct. It took the guy a few minutes to find us another.

It was a very nice room that was upgraded from the first one we saw, which also looked good from what I remember. The bed was comfortable, the room new and clean and easily accessible. Lots of free parking. Close to restaurants and shopping. A delight to have stayed there thanks to finding it on Priceline. I went out of my way to get there as I had planned to stay at the quality inn east Toronto. It was a deal I found on dealfind but it couldn't come close in any category with this hotel. ...read more
