Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Peterborough Waterfront
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

Hotel was not worth the price we paid for it. It was very noisy and messy. When we checked in the hallway to our room was littered with garbage. Our room had somewhat of a stale, unpleasant smell, that didn't go away when we turned on the fan. The beds were comfortable with nice pillows, and the service was friendly, but there are much nicer hotels in the area for half the price. ...

The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. I was not impressed that I had 2 double beds when I was supposed to have one king. It would have been nice to be in a room that was better suited for me.

The thing working against this hotel is its 1970`s architecture and traffic noise. The bathroom toilet was too low.

free apples at reception.
Pretty decor in room, nice location by the water. However, our room looked out upon the parking lot and road and we could only see the water view when we exited the building at one end of the hallway. The hotel was across the street from Tim Horton's and Smitty's restaurant which was handy. Globe and Mail newspapers were left at the door the next morning, but room did not have comfortable beds or any bath towels. ...

The hotel had a beautiful location overlooking a lake and next to a marina. On check-in fruit was available which hit the spot. The room was nicely appointed. The restaurant was convenient with nice selection and very friendly servers. There is also an outdoor restaurant which would appeal to families and outdoor fun. The recreation area took full advantage of the location with a connected indoor and outdoor pool. Parking is at a premium and was a problem. ...
