Holiday Inn Roanoke - Tanglewood Route 419 & I 581

I was really there too briefly. The staff was very nice. My room was clean and well-supplied. I enjoyed watching TV and the bedding was wonderful. My only complaint was that it was rather noisy...I could hear voices downstairs and outside. And some clanking in the middle of the night. But I would stay there again.

The hotel is in an ideal location for my purposes. Bed sheets were extremely thin. Much dust behind bed.

The manager contacted me before arriving in Roanoke, via phone. I thought that this was a great act of hospitality. The manager and his staff were very professional and went out of their way to help once we arrived in the hotel. If shopping is one of your hobbies, the hotel is conveniently located near a shopping mall, major department stores and restaurants. Exits on and off the interstate make this an ideal location; you are close to the airport, downtown and the other shopping mall in Roanoke. Although there was plenty of parking, many spaces were located away from the front entrance of the hotel, so if you parked on the side of the hotel, you would have to walk a few feet to get to a door. This hotel was in a great location off the interstate and near plenty of shopping and dining. Very clean, soft sheets and thick towels. I'll be back!

Too far to drive for just an ordinary hotel - went to 3 restaurants before finding one open on a Sunday - worst hotel we ever reserved with Priceline - this is maybe a 1.5 star hotel

For some reason, Priceline thinks the pool here is open, but it was not even close. It wasnt just empty, but the pool had a ton of debris in it.

Great hospitality.
