Holiday Inn San Antonio Nw - Seaworld Area

The hotel offers a free shuttle if you dont want to pay for parking at SeaWorld, however it fills up quickly and one of the times, the lady knew we were walking out of our room heading down to catch the shuttle and she didnt ask him to wait, we literally watched him pull out of the parking lot and he wasnt full. We had just gotten off the phone with her telling her we were coming down and she didnt bother to tell him to wait 1 more minute. Also the elevators were slow, not because they were broken but because for a 6 floor hotel they only had 2 elevators. We had to wait a long time for one, mainly during busy times of the day (like in the morning when people were checking out or going down to catch the shuttle). The rooms werent gross but I think they could've been a little cleaner. We booked through priceline and there was no guarantee on the room type- but I called the hotel immediately after booking and requested 2 dbl beds because there were 4 of us in the room (2 adults, 2 kids). When we checked in we had 1 king bed to share and they werent able to switch us. Luckily our kids are young enough (2yr & 5yr) that sleeping on pallets on the floor was fun for them. But the hotel did their best to make it right, and brought us up an air mattress which my kids thought was cool so it ended up not being a huge deal and they could both fit on 1 twin size air mattress. But if our kids had been older, like 10 & 12, that wouldnt have worked. Very close to SeaWorld. Quiet location. Clean rooms and friendly staff

Great for Sea World goers! Free shuttle service to Sea World about a mile or 2 down the road. Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal. The pools and hot tub were nice! Just take all of your own food for lunch and dinner because the service at this time wasn't good. Breakfast food and service was good.

Staff tried to be friendly but was not really helpful. We had incidents with room type requests, roll-away bed promises, shuttle service scheduling, request to replace broken coffee maker that were not addressed. I called 2 weeks in advance to make sure they give me a double room and upon check-in, they would not give me a double room. They offered to bring up a roll-away bed but that never came. Their earliest shuttle schedule was 1 hour after SeaWorld opens and then tried to remedy that by opening earlier schedules when they found out. This hotel is overall very good in both location and cleanliness. The only minor complain I have is that the bathroom and restroom floors got very slippery. Except that, everything was great.

This hotel is excellent ready close to sea world n dining places. Excellent customer service with shuttle included to sea world. Will stay again.

The proximity to SeaWorld was fanatastic. Free shuttle was great! Loved the pools--very geared for younger kids. And loved having free on site self-service laundry!
