We were glad it had a refrigerator.
Location, it was NOT a 3 star hotel. Would have been much happier with a 2 1/2 we requested.

This hotel is adequate. It is not the 3-star hotel advertised and is in a location that is not desirable. It needs cosmetic repair. The hotel bathroom was fine, but nothing special. Again, it doesn't warrant a 3-star rating.

i made this reservation under the impression of this hotel being a 3-star, it did not meet any of the amenities , the room smelled like smoke, it did not have a fridge/microwave, the chair was ripped, the furniture had dents and different color paint.

it was a very bad hotel, i only stayed there for 30 mins after the check in. and was told i cannot get my money back. this hotel is wrongly rated as a 3-star and i feel like i was cheated into this. i had filed a dispute with my bank, i have taken pictures and have all the proof that it does not meet the rating. please call me xxxx.

The cleanliness.
The hotel is very old, needs major upgrade. The only upgrade from the older room is the flat screen tv from the older conventional tv and now has microwave and fridge. The entire hotel needs a facelift.

I loved the fact that there was a bar, indoor/outdoor pool and the room was really nice
Wish I knee there was a lot of construction going on around it

the room was great until the power went out. The staff was really rude about it and refused to refund anything for our inconvenience. The hot water was out as well.

In the area I wanted to stay in
I stayed there for 2 nights and the power went off at 3am Sat morn and did not come back on til 3pm Sat afternoon. That's 12 hours of no electricity in the ENTIRE building. That's a bunch of BS if you ask me. Nobody even called to notify us of problems.

Very disappointed in the hotel since the power was off for 12 hours during my visit. It got too hot to do anything inside the hotel. It was awful and the worst part is that nobody even tried to offer an explanation as to what went wrong.

The construction around the hotel was difficult to navigate, but it was not their fault!

I would definitely stay again!! Everyone was super nice and the room was very clean!!

The location was close to where I had to be for business. For the price, it was a good deal. The rooms were clean. Bathrooms could use some updating. Restaurant was good. I liked the hot breakfast with real scrambled eggs.
The hotel is under new management and needs to be updated. There is a lot of construction on the LBJ freeway and this hotel unfortunately sits in an area where it makes it tough to navigate. That is temporary.

The hotel is a large facility - and hopefully will be undergoing some updating. Some of the hallway carpets need to be stretched. Overall I felt the hotel was clean - that is always the first thing I check. Although it is not the most up-to-date hotel, the room was clean and fresh. It looked like the room carpet had been updated. I had room service and it was good for the most part. The breakfast in the morning is a hot buffet - real eggs and bacon (not the powder or pre-cooked stuff). The staff were all very nice. Wifi worked great too. ...read more
