Hotel Guest Reviews of the Crowne Plaza Wilmington North
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 29, 2012

Clean, well-kept and newly renovated. Close to event I was attending. Helpful, and friendly staff. No free breakfast but ample free parking, and free Wi-Fi in-room.

Had to go through a refinery area in dingy back streets to get to hotel saw hotel from a distance, but had to go by once and do a u turn to find entrance that was not marked and had to go through a parking lot for a business office. No signs to tell you it was open or were to check-in. Hotel will be beautiful when complete. It was not fun at 11:30 at night.

I read the reviews of this hotel and the renovations problems, but thought they would be over by Sept. they aren't. The lobby is located in the back of the hotel on the lower level. Construction is everywhere. The problems started the next morning. My husband and I went to breakfast which was excellent. We went back to the room to pack and my husband realized his shirt was missing. He went to the Mall which was right across the street, but right after he left the fire alarm went off and said to get out of the room and find the nearest stairs. I found a stairwell with no stairs! We all got on the elevator (against my better judgment) and it took us up instead of down. After that was over and we were trying to get to the lobby to check out, construction workers wouldn't let us on the elevator, so we couldn't get to the lobby. Very scary place. They could give me a room for free and I wouldn't stay there again. ...

Family Traveling with Young Children
This is a consistently good hotel, but is currently under renovation. It does not currently meet my expectations for a 3 star hotel, but the pictures of the finished product look like it will be a very nice upgrade. Our family of 6 had the whole outdoor pool and had a great time.
