Clarion Hotel South Bay

Very clean and great staff. Within walking distance of a good restaurant. Breakfast room was wonderful with a good selection.

The outside of the building was not great, but the rooms were clean, modern and well kept.

We liked that the hotel wasn't too far from downtown San Diego. The room was a great size and it was very clean.

I the hotel staff was nice and the cleanliness was great, I guess I didn't see that there was not complimentary breakfast so I was a little disappointed. For the price I paid, we should have received complimentary breakfast.

Staff were rude and not helpful. I made a request on the day of my reservation for two beds. I ended up with one long bed, so two of my children slept on the floor because we all could not fit on the bed. I contacted the front desk and the staff told me that since I reserved from a third party I was not entitled to a two bed room as I requested. The hotel was very centrally located and easily accessible to freeways. The staff was extremely friendly and dining one night, was nice.

Very clean and nice rooms, the staff was very helpful and respectful.

The room was clean and nice. However the AC in my room did not work and it was very hot and muggy inside. My sink faucet also constantly leaked, and the sink was open to the bedroom area not in the bathroom. The manager offered to give me a full refund of my stay. I was refunded 1 night, but I am owed a refund for the second night, and that still has not been resolved. The staff at the hotel was excellent and really tried to help me. We checked in late, almost midnight but staff is very helpful. The next morning another staff helped us giving direction to places we wanted to go.
