It was great!
It would have been helpful not to have had a handicap room or at least the choice.

We can easily recommend this hotel and it had a great Mother's Day Brunch!!!

The 3 star rating is accurate for this hotel. Tyler TX does not offer a 4/5 star hotel so this Holiday Inn is about the best in the area. Will choose this hotel for my next stay in Tyler.

no hot water - at least no hot water and water pressure at same time / plenty of pressure with clod water but as soon as you try to adjust for warm or hot water the pressure dropped to a drizzle. It was terrible because we needed to get ready for a Christ

First room i was in was not remodeled yet and had a horrible shower head and pressure. The next room i was in was remodeled, nice,good shower, bed is a little firm

Undergoing remodel, be sure you request remodeled room then it can be considered 3 star

The rooms were nice. Unfortunately the doors leading to the balconies were locked for every room. It would have been nice to have had a chair to sit out on the balcony.
Location of the ice machine (two floors away). Parking was limited. Breakfast was priced higher than some lunch and dinner options....we did not do breakfast because of the cost.

The Holiday Inn Broadway South was very nice. Parking was a bit of an issue due to the hotel sets off the street and parking is somewhat limited for the size of the hotel. The dining staff was very nice and helpful. We did not eat breakfast there, felt the price was a tad high, but did have dinner there two nights. The hotel appears to be going through some "refurbishment". One thing I did not like was we were on the 2nd floor and the closest ice machine was on the 4th floor. ...read more

Good location and staff was very friendly
Hotel was hosting an event and our room was on the ground floor near the event. It was a bit load when we were trying to go to bed because of the close proximity.

Old, dirty, not a 3 star, outdated, etc.

Just because they have a pool or a restaurant should not be a factor in deciding star level.

Everyone was nice and helpful.
I did not like that they charged me 4 different times for the same things. They really messed up my bank account.

Make sure they do not charge you twice for the room and make sure they do not charge you to much for the things that you get at the restaurant or the bar.
