Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach - Norfolk
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 3, 2013

The top linen was really nice but the bottom fitted sheet was extremely warn and would not stay on the bed. I actually checked out after the first night and paid to stay somewhere else. I would not recommend or stay here again due to the air conditioner and smell of smoke. They offered to move me to another room but I had no sleep and couldn't take the chance of staying up most of the night again. I was in the area for a business meeting. I normally bid on Priceline for hotels and have always been extremely satisfied. This experience has made me reconsider... ...

It had nearby restaurants in walking distance only two but they are good. It's very close to the interstate so that is a plus when u want to go to Va beach Oceanfront or Downtown Norfolk. Rooms were very clean and the bathroom was the best. No tub but the shower is huge. Very nice hotel will stay again. Oh yea and the beds were very comfortable

This is a clean hotel with a place to dine and wine on site. The parking is free and they offer free wi-fi. The loaction is close enough to everything so you will not have to drive too far to shop. The rooms have refridge and microwave, which is great for long stays. This is really a good clean hotel. One of the best.

The pictures online did not reflect what you get. The room was not up-to-date. Mildew smell. I would not recommend staying at that particular Holiday Inn

Extremely slow elevator. This hotel apparently is home to a large amount of contractors during the week which is lowering the value of the hotel. No a problem because of workers staying there but the last two times that I stayed the contract workers leave their sliding doors open while laying on their beds watching TV and this last time there were a bunch with grills outside their rooms having a BBQ. While I was checking in, a Pilot called the front desk to complain with the noise and grill smoke coming up to his room while he was trying to sleep. The hotel was very comfortable but because of it becoming quickly run down, I would rate a 2 star. ...
