Hollywood Beach Tower

Location is the best part of this "hotel" that is actually a time share property. No hotel amenities. Rooms are large but the sofa bed is the pits even for a child. Bedroom had a king bed. Two bathrooms are nice. The room was clean when we arrived but it didnt get cleaned at all during our stay. Maid service only on Wednesday. No restaurant. No alarm clocks. Tiki bar rarely open. Location, location, location is th Only selling point. Public areas clean but there are few amenities here other than friendly staff and an okay pool that is very shaded in the afternoon. Also if you book an ocean view room make sure you request a higher floor. I was on the 2nd floor and my ocv room had a view of a dirty patio roof with the ocean way in the distance. Get a committment to a room with a decent view, the room we got was unaceptible, back of the hotel on the second floor is the pits.

Was a great location on the beach to resturants and bars. Rooms were large and 2 bathrooms. All was clean but needs updated.

Make sure you get one of the updated rooms.

Just advertise the roof top as a totally obstructed view and people will know what they are paying for. My trip was to celebrate my birthday and they basically ruined my first night of my trip by misleading me. The hotel should revamp the roof and add a garden. Then, advertise the view as obstructed by a garden. People would appreciate the effort and know what they are paying for. Don't overbook the hotel. All and all nice amenities. ...read more
