Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hollywood Beach Tower

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location is the selling point, it is the only reason I would return.
This is not a hotel, it is a time share property that also sells as a hotel to increase revenue. There are no hotel amenities on property such as a restaurant, room service, alarm clocks or daily cleaning. Ocean view rm had a view of the patio roof!q

Location is the best part of this "hotel" that is actually a time share property. No hotel amenities. Rooms are large but the sofa bed is the pits even for a child. Bedroom had a king bed. Two bathrooms are nice. The room was clean when we arrived but it didnt get cleaned at all during our stay. Maid service only on Wednesday. No restaurant. No alarm clocks. Tiki bar rarely open. Location, location, location is th Only selling point. Public areas clean but there are few amenities here other than friendly staff and an okay pool that is very shaded in the afternoon. Also if you book an ocean view room make sure you request a higher floor. I was on the 2nd floor and my ocv room had a view of a dirty patio roof with the ocean way in the distance. I feel I got ripped off with the view. Also our full kitchen was missing a fridge, be warned before you book here. It isn't ad if you know what to expect beforehand. ...read more

It was located on beach
The room on level 2 faced the parking garage, it was the worst room in the hotel.

Get a committment to a room with a decent view, the room we got was unaceptible, back of the hotel on the second floor is the pits.

Great view of Ocean.
Hotel is process of much needed updating but our room was not included as of today. Water, Both pressure and temperature problems, Electrical problems. (Lost power several times) and a terrible smoke smell were some of the noteworthy issues.

Make sure you get one of the updated rooms.

The hotel had nice amenities. The pool was warm. The spa was clean. The beach was beautiful. Security was evident by locked gates, locked parking, and an attentive front desk (to security).
We didn't get the room as advertised. We paid for oceanfront and we first got sent to a view of a parking garage. It was very late so not a good way to spend our time going back to the front desk. Then, we got a new room and th view of a roof top (ugly).

Just advertise the roof top as a totally obstructed view and people will know what they are paying for. My trip was to celebrate my birthday and they basically ruined my first night of my trip by misleading me. The hotel should revamp the roof and add a garden. Then, advertise the view as obstructed by a garden. People would appreciate the effort and know what they are paying for. Don't overbook the hotel. All and all nice amenities. ...read more
