Hotel Guest Reviews of the Homestead Dallas-Plano
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 13, 2012

The Homestead is a great place to visit I personally like it cause of the security feeling the nice staff location and animal friendly although not breakfast that is a must I believe that alone is sometimes the only factor why one might completely change his or her mind about staying cause theirs nothing like waking up to a good little meal already prepared to start a good day off that alone would make me good anywhere else because the rest is perfect. ...

What a beautiful property! I give this property the highest rating possible for an extended stay hotel (that doesn't cost more in a week than it would cost to buy a used car). Customer service is absolutely astounding. The room came with a queen size bed, two night stands, a dresser, a table, a stove top with two burners, kitchen sink, cabinets, dishes, pots, pans, eating utensils, cups, bowls, cooking utensils etc. It also features a full sized refrigerator/freezer (which in itself saves you a ton of money just on dining out alone). The bathroom was full sized as if it were an apartment and not a hotel room. It had a bath/shower combo and storage under the sink. It also came with a closet with plenty of room (Not walk in sized but big enough), and an ironing board and iron. Everything about this hotel makes you feel at home. The people at the front desk are very courteous and never fail to make sure that everything you need is taken care of. If you call them to ask them for something they always ask if you have any additional issues and follow up in a very prompt manner. They don't avoid you like most hotels staff do. They make you feel as if they want to make your life easier. Kind, calm, collected and always ready to assist. I
will definitely be visiting this hotel again. Consider this a rare review of the property
and
the staff. (My stay will end March 28th 2012 and I can tell you, I'm going to miss it here). The only bad thing I could possibly say about this hotel is that the onsite laundry is way to expensive. It's $2 to wash one load and $2 to dry one load (and typically, at least in my case, I needed to dry them twice, so you're looking at a total cost for one load to be 4-6 dollars), but the good part is, you don't have to haul them to other locations..it's all right there on the property. ...

The staff are very rude and unprofessional.
I felt very uncomfortable the manager here was very rude and unaccommodating.
I was rented a fairly large room with a living room kitchenette, and a bedroom separated from the rest. was very pleased when i walked in but there was a problem with the door handle. and i shut the door and manged to lock my self in the bedroom
I call the front desk and they took 1 hour and 15 min to send someone to my room. Then it took another 45 minutes to get the door open. still i was fairly nice knowing that it was the staff fault about the door. even though they could of been a little faster. So
I mentioned to the manager the next day they need to get the door fixed if not for me the next guest if nothing else because it is a sure fire hazard. she was very rude in her response i asked for her supervisor she can back with the number and told me i was on there no check out list. They are very and professional ...

This overall rate for this hotel is really low. The vending machines were not working, the room is very dark and dirty (with several crickets). The hotel stuff is really unpolluted.
When I asked about the room cleaning service, I have been told they would come only once a week, because that hotel was not intended for people that comes for short periods, but people living there. What an absurd to listen from the hotel stuff. ...
