Hotel Guest Reviews of the Homestead Las Vegas-Midtown

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel was listed in the convention center area. It was a 40 minute walk to the convention center. It was a $10 cab ride and no real public transportation. Since there was a partial taxi strike going on it was not the most convenient location.
It was what I expected.

It was a typical spartan extended stay hotel. I wasn't able to select a non smoking room via priceline which is a real problem. I was forced to take a smoking room. Fortunately it wasn't reeking of smoke, but the bedding did have latent smoke smell which wasn't pleasant. I was surprised that there was not a 'no smoking' option.

They arranged one Quin size bed to us. We are couple with ten years old son on the trip. When we asked for additional rolling bed, it cost additional $15 plus tax. We asked for blanket and hair-dryer - have to pick them and sign-out from the front desk.

the hotel was good the staff was good
they dont change towels everday and they dont change sheets everyday

This hotel is no where near the convention centre, as advertised, the print out i got from the price line website clearly states Homestead las vegas midtown, las vegas convention centre, this hotel is 4.5 kms from las vegas convention ctr, there is no bus service from this hotel to the convention ctr.,so instead of saving money from priceline, i ended up paying heavily.Price line should reimburse my money for this stay,Salim Zaka416-858-6364 ...read more

The room had a nice TV with a working remote and many channels.
My friend and I had to share a queen bed because they did not have any more rooms available with two beds.

The breakfast consists of instant oatmeal, bars, and a limited selection of fruit. There is no shampoo in the bathroom upon arrival so be sure to ask for it before going up to your room (it is free).
