Hotel Guest Reviews of the Crossland Economy Studios - Phoenix - Metro - Dunlap Ave.

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Leaving the next morning!
The key they gave me did not open the door to my room! I went back to the front desk and they did something to the plastic key and told me to try again. This was repeated four times; and then I insisted someone come back to let me into my room! Lousy!!!

Boooooooooo!

Staff acts like they don't want to be there, at least a certain one.

The two ladies at the front desk were helpful
A non-smoking room was unavailable. Very unpleasant.

I am concerned that future random priceline choices will land me with another smokey/stale room.

They should inspect rooms for bedbugs

The grounds and outside of buildings are beautiful and loved having full time security about.
Wish I knew...there was no hairdryer in the room and that they do not supply shampoo and conditioner. The phone did not have any directions on it for use, had to call the front desk to ask how to make calls and retrieve voicemail.

Great full time security guard, beautiful grounds and outside of buildings. Bedding is VERY dated, they don't use bed skirts just the webbing from a mattress pad to cover the box springs in the room I was in. Smelled old, musty when we first arrived, maybe no one had stayed in that room for a long time. Bring your own hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner if you use them as they are not in the rooms. Great to have a near full size fridge in room but no so nice to have it next to the bed when it kicks on and off. Bed very near a/c/heater so you either freeze or are hot from the air blowing right over you in the bed next to it...kind of uncomfortable. Staff just doing their job. Absolutely nothing for kids to do. TV has unsuitable channels for the most part. ...read more

Very nice room.
Want a security deposit - ok! But why can't you return the deposit at 6:30am? Why do I have to change my plans and wait until 8am for you to have cash? This was very upsetting, especially since no one informed about me about it in advance.

The price and convenience to have a stove, dishes, fridge and a place to eat.
There are no ice machines.

Very good and clean room. Quality furniture, new fridge, microwave and oven. Could not ask for more.

Excellent hotel for travelers on a budget, great value for money. Good amenities.

Nothing.
Nothing.

I have stayed here in the past and it was the worst experience ever. For starters, the bedding was dirty, bed was hard and not fit for even a dog to sleep on. The pillows were too small and flat (old and used). Our hotel room came equipped with a deadbolt and a chain lock with looked as though it was tear from the door or frame several times. Added to that, the AC units they feature as upgraded are the same wall units, the cheap hotels use with a cardboard box covering the controls they pull out and a thermostat on the wall which works only sometimes. On the outside, I did not feel safe leaving my car parked in their secure lot. Every time I went to my car, the first floor room I was parked in front of had someone peering for a moment as though they were waiting for someone to come to the window. The people who roam the grounds are, for the lack of better words, the scum of society. I would never recommend staying here ever!
