Homewood Suites By Hilton Allentown-West/Fogelsville

we were quite impressed with this hotel. most hotels give you a small refrig and microwave, this hotel gave you a full sized refrig and a good sized microwave over a full sized stove/oven. They included pots, pans, dishes, utensils, drinking cups and little condiments as well. They gave you a full walk in shower with extra towels. they had a comfortable bed with lots of pillows and an extra pillow and blanket in the closet. They had an iron, ironing board as well. They had a ceiling fan over the bed area. The room was huge, it was a bedroom, with a living area that included a couch and ottoman that rolled around, they had a little table in the kitchen as well. It was well thought out. It was not a cheap looking room, it had class. We would definitely recommend this to anyone, since it really cannot compare to the other places we stayed at that were the same price. It was right off the highway. It was quiet as well. The breakfast had both hot and cold foods and there was a good variety for everyone. The room was very clean all the way around. The tv was in between the living room and bedroom and could swivel to see it from the kitchen, living room and bedroom. Great place to stay

The fact that the hotel and rooms were very clean and not to mention how amazing the room was. They should know that the breakfast is worth the stay alone. The free shuttle at the hotel can be iffy. They took us right when we scheduled and got us to our destination in ten minutes. Our destination was 4.59 miles from the hotel. On the way back the shuttle took an hour and fifteen minutes after we called to pick us up. When the shuttle driver arrived he asked us if we knew where we were going and we thought he was kidding being that the hotel was less than 5 miles away and we were at a pretty known resort nearby. But then we ended up going twenty minutes in the wrong direction and he turned around 3 times. What was a ten minute drive to get there ended up being a forty minute ride home. I was on business travel and the hotel was within 2 miles of my meetings. Had no problems booking and checking in. Amenities were adequate and the room was clean and comfortable.

Clean rooms friendly staff great food

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the location and all the amenities.

I will think twice before I will ever be a guest in your hotel. Checking in was a 1/2 hour process due to short staff. Then as soon as we entered our room, we noticed bathroom was clogged. Maintanace person came to fix thge problem & left having made the floor messsy & NOT cleaning the floor. He even hadthe nerve to carry the plunger openlt, thus letting the water drip on the floor. ...read more
