Hotel Guest Reviews of the Horseshoe Resort
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Traveling as Couple(4) | Family with Young Children(2) | Family with Teens(1)

Front desk staff initially poor when we were told room wasn't ready on time. Room supposed to be ready for 4pm, available at 5:45. This kind of thing happens but initial staff was unapologetic, told us to continue to check back, etc.
Initial staff interaction was weak. Red head female at front desk was moody, unsympathetic to our problem. Rest fine.
Great location, and the ski hill was fine except too few hills were open in our opinion based on the snow on the ground. I might recommend again but of particular note our "suite" had a king bed, and pullout couch for over $300 per night and a standard suite had 2 queen beds for quite a bit less. Not enough additional value for a suite for 4 vs a standard room for 4.

Lots of activities on-site for young families.
Room lighting was too dark.

Location.
Kids for a hockey tournament - delayed in getting room with kids screaming, yelling and running around well into the night.
Hotel is a nice place but when they are busy they have difficulty managing.

The grounds were perfect for enjoying the outdoors and the pools were excellent.
A little off the beaten path, food options limited to on-site choices that closed early and had limited options.
A resort/time-share facility with lots of pools, a few restaurants and ski hills for winter sports. The rooms were very nice, simple attractive decor. Common areas were well decorated.
