Solo Traveler
Bad choice for light sleepers; literally right in the center of everything but as such can be noisy at night; Spain allows public drinking, and if there is a soccer match there will be plenty of it! So if you need shuteye avoid. However if you want to join the revelers, you are in the middle of the action! Plaza is power washed at 5am, close windows & get earplugs, or be sure to be out enjoying the nightlife. Great shopping, tapas, and cafés nearby. 5 minute walk to major attractions like Royal Palace & Madrid's Opera house. Clean room, shower had great water pressure, but rooms are small & no frills. Expect to use as a crash pad and not much more. Would return. ...
