The location was great. The rooms were slightly above average. But the staff, in particular Shirley, was awesome. I would stay there again just for her pleasantries.
We were upgraded, so those are the rooms I rated. The rooms we would normally get, like the one we reserved in person, would not have rated as highly for the price.

Great location. Center of downtown San Jose. Excellent staff. Only average rooms.

The lobby was nice.
Downtown San Jose is a horrible location. The linen and towels smelled like old sweaty men; the bathroom was super small.

This hotel is pricey for its location and surroundings. The staff was average, and I wouldn¿t recommend it to anyone.
