Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Beacon

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Clean, tidy, large bed, efficient, very plain but comfortable for long term stay.
Ugly lobby, very plain decor, and not a prime location.

Very nice under the circumstances. Nothing to write home about but a generous size room and attentive staff for the money. Very clean.

Perfect for business--kitchenette, wireless internet, subway close by.
"Business center" was two computers crammed in a closet space.

I love this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is clean and welcoming.

It was in a great location, we loved being so close to everything in the city.

This was a great hotel and I would stay there again. We had a kitchen, the market across the street came in handy and the location was perfect. We loved being so close to everything and feel safe. The staff was great, they answered questions and had recommendations for restaurants in the area.

Great location in area I like. Well appointed, good size rooms.

Unpretentious, but nicely-appointed hotel. Accommodating and friendly staff. Kitchenette in the room is a nice plus. Very comfortable beds. Overall, a relaxing, inviting convenient place to stay, for good value. We'll be back.

Great location, helpful staff.
No restaurant/food available at hotel.

This was a great hotel; reasonable price for Manhattan area. The staff was very helpful. I was traveling with a family which included two small children and I loved the kitchenette area. Also loved that a market was right across the street, very convenient. Close to Central Park!

Great part of town. Very safe area. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, as well as Central Park. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We were given an upgrade without asking.

Friendly staff, nicely laid-out floor plan. Recently renovated, very clean and well appointed for the price point. The two-bedroom suite actually has two private baths as well. Very nice! The kitchenette has everything you need for take-out dinner in your room. Very quiet, too, considering our 5th floor room. Would certainly go back.
