Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Felix Chicago

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Excellent location. There are no 3 star alternatives that would be any less expensive. Outside of parking, which they are at market, we loved the value that this transaction provided
Trying hard to be a 4 star hotel; but many 3 star priceline hotels are more roomy, better quality furniture, bathroom etc.. I know the location is excellent, and it provides the services that a 4 star would provide; but the rooms are small.

The staff makes up for the small room sizes. From the concierge to the porters were outstanding. We would stay here again if we come in for a short visit. We spent 5 nights and could have used a little bigger room to be able to spread out a bit more.
Just the small room size is the only bit of negative, but the warm & friendly service you receive from the staff is worth it!

For the price we paid, in Chicago and so close to Michigan Ave, the hotel is worth it! If you are looking for a small, intimate location, this is it. We loved the bed. It was so comfortable! Best sleep I had in any hotels.

The location was pretty good.
It was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. There were four of us and although not guaranteed, the hotel did have a room with 2 double beds and let us have it at no additional charge. The room was very cramped with 2 beds.

I didn't feel it was a four star hotel. It was clean and updated. Just very small. No bar. It had a restaurant next door. Parking is $49 per night.

Parking fees were expensive. Staying 4 days added almost another $200 to the cost of our visit.

Hotel streetway was under construction when we were visiting but overall the hotel was very nice. No complaints, room was a little small but very nice. Parking costs added to your visit that you will def have to consider especially if you are staying multiple days.

Location in downtown Chicago and Miracle Mile.
We (your customer service folks) have already had this dialogue. Despite what the public ratings are on this hotel, it is not a Four Star Hotel. So the resulting experience and value derived from bidding is very disappointing.

OK hotel, but to be called a 4 star hotel is stretching things. No way - read other reviews on Tripadvisor, etc. Rooms are small and noisy. Our room needed updating (the carpeting, etc was worn + a few stains). Aside from beds, only a small chair at the desk. One tiny window. Small bathroom - small sink no counter space. Stand-up shower only. Closet was extremely small. Out on the fringes (6 blocks) from Miracle Mile other hotels closer (including the 3.5 star Marriott Courtyard). Priceline and Felix will rip you off in the bidding process, so I would avoid downtown Chicago if you aren¿t prepared to pay 4-star to stay at this 3 star. Would be okay if they grouped this in 3 star, but you will be disappointed like me if you bid and got this hotel expecting 4 star like they list things. ...read more

Hotel Felix ranks with the best. The room was nice, clean & modern. The bed, pillows & linen were cozy and the bath area was spotless. The location is within walking distance to Miracle mile, L-train locations & various local & chain restaurants.
Loved everything about it.

Great hotel with very good location and reasonable rates for the area. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommended. Basically could not find anything wrong with this hotel. It stands up there with the best.

Fantastic location! We loved the area. There was much available in the area within walking distance. The cafe attached to the hotel had an amazing breakfast as well.
Rooms were slightly smaller than expected.

Rooms very small, no personal touches. Nobody really to make stay special, always had to ask for someone to get us cab, etc. bar wasn't open all nights, most definitely NOT a four star...

NOT a four star hotel, small rooms, no personal attention.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff always seemed annoyed with any requests via person or phone. The room was tiny. There was no closet available, the ice machine was broken. No fridge in any of the rooms. The bathroom did not have any counter space.

Do not stay at this hotel. The staff members always seemed annoyed with any requests, such as double beds, extra blanket, extra towels. I was also told by employee no requests for room types would be taken over the phone. The rooms were very small. I had 2 rooms and I was told they were the same type of room and exact room. One room had about 3 feet of space from the end of the bed to the wall and that also included a 2 foot desk. The other room had approximately 6 feet of space between the end of the bed to the wall. The rooms did not have a fridge or a closet. There is no place to hang a dress or suit. There was no counter space in the bathroom. The faucet was 2 inches from the base of the sink. The lobby is also tiny. The price may seem enticing but you get what you paid for. ...read more
