The location was interestingly special, as the train station was a central key to our trip; the staff was kind and helpful, even scorting us with the luggage to get the train to leave Kyoto.
I do not like to pay for using the fitness center and the pool, and even the prohibition for the children to swim in the pool.

Staff was efficient and very friendly. Hotel design is very modern and interesting.
Cost of gym/fitness center and food in hotel.
We were met quickly by desk staff. It was before 3 so our room was not ready as expected. Our bags were whisked away. We returned at 3 and our bags were already in the room and our keys were ready. Art work and design.

Excellent location, comfortable quiet room, pleasant and helpful staff.
Being able and looking forward to returning to our room at the Hotel Granvia made our stay in Kyoto much more enjoyable. The hotel's central location and easy access to the subway, buses, and the train made all parts and sites in the city quickly reachable.
