Evening staff was more interested in using his cell/smart phone than helping. The individual wouldn't even look up to make eye contact!
Out of laundary detergent (I had to walk to a 7/11), toothpaste (ditto, except at 9PM), and the computer in the lobby wouldn't connect to the internet.

Very busy location but once inside at nice hotel. The pool needs to be heated or at least have a heating blanket for the sun. It looked inviting but was frigid.

I loved the location. I also liked how they had it decorated for the holidays. It got me "in the mood" being I came there to visit my daughter and do all my Christmas shopping before heading home. The place looked very welocoming.
I didn't feel the staff was very inviting. They didn't do anything wrong, but the smiles and cheerfulness wasn't there. I know its a job, but it should be like they want to make sure you are being taken care of.

No counter in bathroom, carpet needs cleaning in heavy traffic area.

The loft room was spacious and comfy!
The hotel hallways were not
AC.

Very good location, decent breakfast! It's very close to LAX and Hermosa Beach! Parking is a bit tight. The wallpaper is kind of funky, but the beds are very comfy!

Very limited parking, had a guest stop by and they were not allowed to park on hotel property

It's a decent hotel. Fairly close to the beach and has a nice surf shop next door. If you upgrade they have rooms with walk in tubs.

Overall, we had a good experience at the hotel. The only problem was that our smoke detector kept beeping in the middle of the night. The first night we called and the guy told us he would look into it and call us back, but never returned the call. The second night the guy came up to try and fix the alarm and said he would be write back with a tool and then never returned. This made for a restless night because the noise was quite loud. Having a refrigerator in our room and being on ground floor.
No counter space in bathroom.

It was clean and quiet. Room was a nice size. No counter space in the bathroom was the pits! The breakfast options were poor but staff was helpful and the area was clean.
