Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Indigo Boston-Newton Riverside

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very comfortable beds, nice linens, clean, modern rooms and very quiet. Also, the gym was large and had good cardio machines (although they could use a few more) and a full rack of free weights.
the bathroom was a bit small but workable and clean

Location to my MA office
The platform that the bed is on sticks out too far. Walk to close to the bed- black & blue mark on leg. Other than that, everything else was good.

It was the most awful stay I have ever had at any hotel.
Smallest room I have ever stayed in. Phone did not work. Staff inept.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! It is a horrible property with tiny rooms and inept staff. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel.

Everything is as advertised-have stayed there many times. Nothing over the top but everything you need for a quick stay in a convenient location.
Wireless access in the room was awful. They need to up the ante on that front to appeal to business class

The modern and comfortable room.
The front desk attendant gave me a snide look when she realized i booked through Priceline and the parking situation was horrible. For a hotel that is close to nothing they charged $7 to park and when I returned from dinner there was nowhere to park.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was in the area on business hoping to book a hotel close to my morning appointment, of the area hotels listed on priceline.com this was the farthest. The front desk clerk was rude to me when I came to check in, i believe because i was not paying their standard rediculassely overpriced rate. The hotel itself was nice and comfortable but not worth the aggravation of poor parking, rude staff and frankly every hotel should provide their guests with some form of breakfast. ...read more

I was hoping to stay at this hotel again, I have stayed here before. Slept wonderfully and hope to stay again.
Pillows - so important - pillows are only fair.

Suffice it to say - if I could be guaranteed the Hotel Indigo - everytime I bid in the Boston area for a 3+ hotel - I would be very happy. Rooms are modern, clean - colors are pleasing - staff are friendly and helpful - comfortable atmosphere - I did not eat at the restaurant but heard great reviews - excellent access to downtown - especially if you know your way around. Highly recommend. ...read more

Beautiful rooms, comfortable bed

We actually stayed there twice. One time the room was quite small, being next to the stairwell, it was well-designed but really cramped for two people. The other time the room was normal-sized for a suburban hotel, very nice. The fixtures are modern and attractive, bed very comfortable, with euro-style comforters. Restaurant was quite expensive, we ended up bringing food to the room and eating out. Overall, an excellent value! ...read more
