This hotel should be rated below a 3 star experience. As a business traveler, I just found the overall experience terrible... poor service, valet who will stand and do nothing rather than get your car, broken vending machines, noisy between rooms, etc.

This hotel should be dropped to a 2 star experience...i felt like I was staying in a Motel 6 disguised as a 3.5 star hotel.

room had a draft, and they were going to charge me a rate more than the total of the previous 4 days I had stayed there just because it was New Years Eve. Goodness!!!

not bad - although the auditor could use a math lesson and the staff tends to be a little bit swipe happy when it comes to pre-authorizations!~

The decor was pretty but cheaply done. I liked that the room didn't have carpet. It made the room feel cleaner. The room was also spacious.
The staff lacked basic customer service skills. During check in I asked for recommendation of a place to eat & got little to no info. Also the shuttle service is disorganized & chaotic. Finally, the amenities were disappointing.

If you want a clean room and terrible customer service, stay at the Hotel Indigo. Our room was spacious and clean but that's the only positive thing I can say about our stay. The front desk staff couldn't answer my questions about the area or shuttle service. The shuttle service was completely disorganized and chaotic. We waited half an hour for the shuttle and when it came, they took a group that had only been waiting about 10 minutes, instead of us. We ended up being late to our show because the shuttle driver and valet gave us a totally inaccurate estimate on how long we would be waiting and then really bad directions when we decided we would drive our own car because we didn't have time to wait for the shuttle to return again. For the VERY HIGH price we were paying I expect the front desk person to give me better information about restaurants than "there are a bunch along this side street" and I definitely expect that the shuttle people wont push a group in front of us that hadn't been waiting nearly as long as we had. The building is obviously pretty old and it was a little out of the way so this hotel really needs to include some other amenities and definitely improve their customer service standards if they want to stay competitive. Really clean rooms with soft beds and crisp sheets, bold decorating and interesting room lighting, and a really comfortable lounge/restaurant with big windows where I can see city people walking by. The rooms are small but cozy and ultra clean.
Even though the valet service and shuttle was a little slow, I felt the staff cared and saw me as a person. They do need to provide foam pillows, as this poor country girl is allergic to feathers.

This hotel has everything I value. Even though the valet service and shuttle was a little slow, I felt the staff cared and saw me as a person. The hotel owes Dwight in their restaurant a big "thank you." He was fun and caring, and knew the dinner menu well. I'm really surprised the restaurant wasn't a lot more busy for dinner, the food was really good, so well prepared and flavorful. They need to advertise more clearly that there is a dog park just across the street. It's really relaxing to go there and watch owners and their four legged friends cavort and enjoy city life. The hotel is beautiful and inviting. The color palette was refreshing and relaxing. The staff were super attentive and friendly.
I loved everything about the hotel. It is a few blocks out of the way from some main attractions but still very accessible.

This hotel is perfect for a girls getaway, etc. the valet option was great and I made use of it. Never heard a complaint, staff were always attentive. Room service was quick. Not a 5 star restaurant but food that is good at a reasonable price.

There was nothing we could have done but move rooms, and that would have not solved the problem. Next time, I'll pay the extra $300 and stay at the W. Seriously. We arrived on Christmas evening during a winter storm. The staff was exceptional in helping us with parking issues (we drive a 4 WD truck) as the valet was not on duty for the holiday. Very friendly and comforting end to a stressful day. The location and
Cost of parking, but I have found most top-rated hotels do charge for parking.

Older but elegant downtown hotel. Very comfortable and quiet.
