Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Enjoyed the non French Quarter experience in the Garden District. Outstanding front desk staff adds to the hip boutique feel. St. Charles streetcar steps away and that opens all of New Orleans to you. It's inexpensive safe and fun transportation. Easy walk to Magazine St. but avoid the opposite direction. Glad we stayed there and will again.

The room was very clean, chic, comfortable... however, our room did have an adjoining door to the room next to ours and there was no sound barrier, so we could hear everything...Not that we were in the room for much time but next time I will make sure to request a private room. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend anyone planning a trip to NOLA consider this hotel, it was great! ...

Housekeeping was some what minimal. Some days they didn't empty trash, refill our coffee, etc. I had read this from other reviewers online. The food served downstairs wasn't great. better to go offsite. No reason to pay for valet, plenty of free street parking this time of year.

When traveling from the airport to the hotel take a taxi ($33 for one, or two) rather than the city shuttle bus ($38 for two), which takes nearly twice as long to get to your hotel. For getting around the area a day long street car pass is $3. Maked dining resevations 24 hours, or more in advance especially on weekends.

Overall a great place to stay; very comfortable and location is ideal. Valet service is cheaper than hotels downtown or in the French Quarter. The streetcar stop directly in front of the hotel made travel through the Garden District and trips to the Warehouse District and French Quarter easy.
