Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Lucerne

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Helpful staff. Nice facilities. Great location
Nope

Perfect location near the park on the Upper East. Greeted immediately. Desk staff was courteous and helpful. Room was great. Amenities also nice. I used the fitness center which was small, but overall clean and everything was working, so cannot complain!

We have stayed here many times and it is always great. The staff is extremely helpful and the restaurant attached to the hotel (Nice Matin) is good.
Everything was great.

location was wonderful and easy to all transportation. Relatively quiet neighborhood, great restaurant attached, Nice Matin. Best granola in the world.
noisy water pipes.

2 blks from the Natural history museum, great location. Just commercial enough area, plus close to Central Park. Concierge service was excellent and friendly.

I was not able to stay in this hotel due to the fact that my plane was cancelled (due to the nor-easter) and I was not able to make it to New York City. It is my understanding that my hotel fee will be reimbursed because I have a certificate from the air

The hotel staff was accommodating and upgraded me to a suite.
The hotels decor was sub par.

I really enjoyed the staff and cleanliness of the hotel. Many of the more upscale hotels I've stayed in have lacked quality housekeeping and hospitality staff. Although there were issues with the free WiFi, it would have been better at dial up speed. I tested the speed and was only 5 mbps. It severely hurt the projects I was trying to complete. The linen and bed spread was substandard. ...read more

I loved my room! I was in a single--one bed--which gave me a feeling of a comfortable bedroom!
The icemaker machines are all on one floor! There is complimentary wireless internet, but not in the room--it is in public areas of the hotel!

I really enjoyed staying at The Lucerne Hotel! I had a room with a single bed in my room, which gave me a feeling of being in the comfort of my bedroom. Loved the decor of the room. The walk-in-closet with perfect for a single person. The bathroom was very nice--more of a 1940s or even a pre-war decor. The hotel lobby theme was either pre-war or 1940s motif--clean carpet and elevators. It is very charming! Also, the staff is very friendly! The room offer complimentary newspapers, which includes the New York Times. ...read more

Clean, comfortable, adequately appointed.
Omelet I had for breakfast was a little too dry.

Excellent comfort and service without being posh.

Solid on all fronts- very easy to settle in for our extended(5day) stay. Staff very accommodating.

Second 5+ day stay at Lucerne. Traveled as single mom with toddler and staff was fabulous. Our new upper west side "go to" hotel. Thank you, Lucerne!
