Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Lucia
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 9, 2013

The rooms are TINY. Even after upgrading (TWICE!!) We found ourselves in a cracker-box of a room with the smallest bathroom I've seen outside of a cruise ship. Many of my cruise ship rooms and bathrooms were larger than this place. Be prepared for a small room and don't bother upgrading (for xxx) because the original room can't possibly be much smaller than the upgraded one. Also the room service is a joke. 3 item on the menu and VERY unpleasant staff when you call for it. All in all don't stay here. Priceline should be ashamed that this is in their 4-Star group. Our night, the previous night, at the 4-Star Westin Portland was great. These 2 hotels should be 2 stars away from each other. ...

This is a beautiful little boutique hotel in downtown Portland in the midst of everything. The staff is incredibly attentive, almost to the point of annoyance. We got a call after check in to make sure everything was alright in our room, and we couldn't leave the building without someone asking if we needed anything. The rooms are very small but the amenities are very nice. The only major annoyance was the maid attempting to enter our room before we checked out. Be sure to put out the do not disturb sign if you're not leaving first thing in the morning! ...

Hotel Lucia has really nice art and photography on the walls. If you're tired of big box, typical hotel surroundings, this hotel is a breath of fresh air. The staff was so nice and were always inquiring about our comfort. The valet service was excellent and very friendly. I'd be hard pressed to say anything bad about this hotel. I'm trying to think of something, but nothing comes to mind. Okay, the rooms aren't very large, but we knew that beforehand and this is not much of an issue for us. ...

It was great place to stay, in a central district can walk anywhere. Slightly pricey but had a wonderful weekend and why not spend a little extra?
