Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Monteleone

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Fantastic location, great bar, excellent staff.
Rooms were itty-bitty.

The location of this hotel can't be beat - so much within walking distance. The lobby is beautiful, the carousel bar is a treat, but go early and wait your turn at the rotating bar. The staff was extremely helpful and kind to us, and allowed us to store our luggage for over 12 hours after we'd checked out. Pricey! But definitely one-of-a-kind.

Outstanding rooms, service, pool and gym. Comfy beds and thrilled with my stay!

Great location on Royal with all its shops and galleries. Close to Boubon but far enough away to get away from the craziness.

The hotel staff members from the doorman to the reception clerk to the hostess in the restaurant to the concierge were absolutely wonderful - they went out of their way to be helpful and pleasant.
No.

This isn't a review of the hotel - it's a review of your survey - I was traveling with my sister on a pleasure trip. Your categories below don't fit us.

Rooms were great, bathroom a little small but the location is the best!
The valet is slow. We called about 10 minutes prior to leaving the room and still waited another 20 minutes for our car. It was not very busy either.

The staff was quite helpful.
There were two stains on the carpet and the chair in the room was broken.

Beautiful public areas and professional friendly staff. The room itself was quite nice with the exception of the stains on the carpet and the broken chair. It is unfortunate that the higher starred hotels do not provide free WIFI service to their guests.

Great location! Close to Bourbon St, the Aquarium, the Insectarium, etc.
Smaller rooms, but pretty sound proof.

The view was nice - could see the Mississippi River, (but it was from looking down an alley). Hotel was very clean - one of the cleanest bathrooms I have ever had at a hotel. Small bathroom, but plenty big enough to shower and get ready and decorated in beautiful marble! The carousel bar is really cool - loved how the chairs rotated! Staff was very accommodating. Taxis were very easy to get. You could walk to lots of tourist attractions. Very nice trip! I would go back again.

Great location, beautiful and historic.
Parking was $35.00 per day this was not disclosed online, the rooms are smallish, and the restaurant and bar were closed for renovation.

This is a lovely old hotel. The rooms are small, but very clean and decorated well. The hotel is beautiful and very convenient to everything in the French Quarter. The pool is great. The parking at the hotel is expensive and I was not informed of the charge for parking when I made my reservation. This should be explained up front. The restaurant and bar were closed for renovation which was unfortunate. All in all the hotel was very nice. ...read more
