Staff under-qualified and rude! The hotel would have been amazing if not for the inconvenience of the staff and the hoops they make you jump through. My husband and I like our flights and hotels completely paid for before we arrive to our destination, yet hotel Nikko took extra money for our already paid stay, which was released 5 days after we were home from our 3 day vacation. It was less money we got to spend.

I walked through the door, I was treated like a queen. I have lived and traveled all over the world and I was truly taken aback by the level of service the Hotel Nikko provided. As someone that has been in the hospitality industry for for over 20 years, none of this was lost on me!.

After we arrived in our room, I checked to see what kind of bed setup (ie: king, queen, 2 doubles, etc) we bought, but the order didn't say. We paid for a 4-star hotel and the bed was just a double. The sheets made us sneeze all night and all the next day. Feathers were coming out of the comforter so that we walked out of the room with feathers on us and took some home in our suitcases. However, they were really nice about switching out our bedding. Also, the walls were bare, no effort into decorating the room. Didn't really feel like I was staying in a luxury hotel based on the rooms. ...

Nice place with a good location. I would call this Union Square and not Nob Hill. Making people pay for WiFi is ridiculous.

The room was very small. Bathroom was very dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable because they use plastic lining. Staff were not helpful or friendly. After checking out, I have to call a week later to ask them to release my deposit money $200. Staff does not understand English very well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Horrible hotel. It should be rated as 2.5 star not 4.
