Location to convention center.

Small rooms, no concierge that could identify new restaurants, good for business dinners in different neighborhoods.

Their rooms are tiny studios with full size beds only with sink area area located separately from shower and bathroom.

Valet parking took half an hour to get...rooms small...decore bad...public areas dark and unwelcoming.

The staff is very unfriendly and valet system is just downright poor. It takes about a half an hour to get your car even when called in advance. The rooms are dark, small, and dirty. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for anything but a bargain price and wanting to stay downtown.

The rooms were nice and comfy, the daily housekeeping was excellent!

There was really nothing for kids to do.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the staff was very friendly. Our daily housekeeping was prompt and through, and they also took the time to decoratively add our daughters blanky and puppy to the bed-making. It was always a surprise to see how the puppy would be and our daughter
loved it.

Great location and newly remodeled but still maintains old art deco charm.

Not only do you get a great location at the Hotel Phillips, you have a classic feeling of the thirties right in your room. I felt like I had stepped back into a time of speakeasys, pinstriped suits, and fedoras when I looked around the front lobby. Very fun hotel and charming. My wife's said she loved staying there because not only were we staying in a nice hotel but we were experiencing a piece of history. Our room was spacious and we had a great view from the 20th floor facing south. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting KC because it is just a fun experience and a comfortable hotel. ...read more

Elevators were extremely SLOW. Waited 20+ minutes for one at check in.
