Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Renew
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 6, 2013

Great modern hotel in convenient location. Hotel staff was attentive and friendly. The rooms were a bit small, but expected for the great price.

I had a really great experience with Hotel Renew. They give me the best hotel service I have ever experienced. Accomedated all my needs and schedule during my stay. Great location, right next to Waikiki Beach, on the shopping stripe. Very awesome, would absolutely stay there again. Only downside is that it is a little noisey because it is in such a busy area. Other then that, the hotel is beautifully designed, super clean, and very modern. I loved my stay there and so did my boyfriend. Once again, credit to the staff, they go over and beyond in meeting your needs and providing EXCELLENT SERVICE! ...

I chose this hotel based on TA reviews, and it does offer decent value. I wouldn't pay extra for ocean view next time: window is not floor to ceiling, there is no balcony, and when you are sitting, you can't see anything but sky. Things I didn't like: no coffee-maker, windows don't open but a sliver, terrible lighting (you'll need your own book light if you read in bed, and poor outlet availability. I finally found 3 relatively handy outlets on the side of the wooden dresser, painted the same dark brown and in such an unlikely location you could overlook them. The one chair is placed directly in front of the TV which sits on the desk, so no one can watch TV while that chair being used. There is no pool or outdoor space. Things I liked: great staff, several of whom made some very helpful suggestions that made our trip much better, pretty decent complimentary breakfast (though seating tight), so not having a coffee maker less of a drawback, free internet. Nicely decorated, and very comfortable beds. Nice bath amenities. Parking is expensive, like everywhere else. If easy beach access is important to you, be aware they are repairing the beach directly in front of the hotel. Don't know when they will be done, and it's only a block or so to beach access.

Not what
I thought it would be, but just a regular hotel. View from the rooms are terrible.
