Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Seattle
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 13, 2013

This is an older hotel so don't expect much. Our linens & towels were clean. Yes, the wallpaper is peeling in places and the ceiling could use some repair. It's a two star hotel. The carpets and floor could be replaced and the bathroom could use and update. We didn't care about this. The staff was friendly and the location is great to get around anywhere in Seattle. It is close to the light rail terminal and a easy ride from the airport. The hundreds we saved we spent on fancy dinners and tours. Think about it. If looks matter don't stay here. If you need a safe, warm place to sleep and spend the rest of the day having fun and spend your savings this may be your place. ...

Massively outdated! Has not been refurbished since the 70's. The carpets were filthy. The staff were friendly.

Unless you are homeless and seeking refuge from the elements, don't stay here. The room was filthy, ceiling tiles in bathroom were cracked and mildly, the linens and bedspread smelled bad and looked unwashed, the carpet faded and old (looked to be 30+ years old), and the drapes had holes in them. The lobby is dark and dirty, and behind the check-in desk there's a head of old spare computer parts, and quite unsightly. That's the first clue of what to expect from your room. ...

Pros: The hotel is close to the convention center and most of the tourist attractions. The LINKS station is only 2-3 mins walk. The staff are friendly, though not always helpful. The room was clean during my whole stay. Cons: Shower water temperature was NOT constant. I would set it to warm and then the water would get burning hot all of a sudden and then drop to icy cold the next minute. The first night I got there, there were 4 local channels on tv. The second day, there was only 1. The third day, there were 5 channels! There's no coffee-maker or tea pot in the room. My experience was not as bad as some other reviewers'. My room was very basic, but clean. There's no hair-dryer in the room. But you can borrow one from the front desk. The location of the hotel is really good. If you just want a clean and cheap place to sleep and don't need all the fancy stuff, it not a bad choice. ...

Unbelievably terrible experience at this place. Stained carpets and walls. Wallpaper peeling off. Broken mirror in the bathroom. No working power outlets! How can you not have working power outlets? When I complained to the front desk, they sent up a repair person who just ran an series of extension cords around the room so I could charge my phone! WTF?!?

I would not recommend this hotel except to someone perhaps in an emergency. The location wasn't as good as expected, and when we got into the room, it was awful. There was water damage everywhere, the plaster of the walls and baseboards were cracked and exposed; the floors were dirty and seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, there was a rusty pipe in the bathroom, and the only light socket in the bathroom had half the face plate broken off and was up against the tile of the shower, leaving one prong of the plug exposed to any stray water from the shower. I was entirely displeased with the hotel and will never stay there again. ...
