The hotel was in a poor state from cleanliness to being uncomfortable.

When you have been traveling on trains or planes, the hotel should be a source of comfort. We felt we had to work hard to get up the stairs (3 flights) and then to see the room in shabby condition. The twin room for all intents and purposes, was a closet.
