Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hotel Strasburg

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff at the hotel at the front desk and the dining room were absolutely great.
Although the hotel is pet friendly, not all rooms accommodate pets. I didn't realize the room I booked on priceline was not a pet room. It would be helpful to indicate that online.

This hotel has a great old world charm, wonderful water pressure in the shower, comfortable beds, soft sheets, pleasant staff, and a reasonably priced restaurant. Don't come expecting modernity; think grandma's china plates displayed on the walls. Some rooms(but not all, so ask)can accommodate pets.

Charming and tasteful room, excellent restaurant/pub, and staff does everything 110%

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. My husband does not generally like small hotels or B&Bs but this one was quiet and private, and we loved having the restaurant/pub on site.

I love history and this place was full of it. The rooms, I saw two different ones, were furnished beautifully and the staff happy to serve and speak with the guests. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent.

Strasburg is centrally located between Washington DC and Baltimore. There isn't much to do in the neighborhood of the hotel but you really don't need much to do when you are there. You can walk the streets and get a little history lesson of the area, relax on the porches or have a wonderful dinner in the hotel dining room. The furniture and decorations will keep one busy for hours. We look forward to going back there again. ...read more

great location, excellent price and very charming.
Because the hotel was old it was drafty and the rooms and bed was small.

Great location, quaint old feel. Perfectly priced and extremely reasonable for the ambiance, location, and amenities. Bar and restaurant in hotel made staying here during the winter perfect. Staff was kind and friendly. Drawbacks are that some rooms (and beds) are small- not necessarily a downside but just be prepared for that. In summary, I'd absolutely stay here again.

I liked the old style building with character and the cleanliness.
The heater (fan) is a bit noisy being right next to the bed. I turned it off for the night. This kind of heat unit is always noisy though.

The hotel was interesting and the staff was friendly. The building was not some cookie cutter type of modern building but one with lots of character and interesting pictures on the walls. The dining rooms looked nice although I did not need to eat after I checked in. I would go there again if in the area.

It was close to the sites I wanted to see.
The bathroom was very small. My husband couldn't fit into the shower.

The hotel was very stuffy, and the AC had a funny smell. Menu items were over priced for the quantity and quality in the restaurant.

Great location.
The early morning fire siren was unexpected.
