Hotel has a great location with all kinds of shops close by and within walking distance. The Pacific Seafood Buffet was excellent but pricey.

We initially stayed in the old tower of the hotel and had a serious cleanliness issue. Expecting four-star service we spoke with the night manager who said first that it was only a three-star hotel and then that he couldn't guarantee any of the other rooms would be any better. We were able to move to the new section, but were very disappointed that such a serious cleanliness issue had been handled so disrespectfully by a manager. In the morning we spoke with the day supervisor who was aghast with our earlier treatment, apologized and upgraded us. we are not gamblers, so the casino was overwhelming and smoky
but very fun restaurants and cheerful, helpful staff!

Harvey's has a great location in Stateline, NV, with views of Lake Tahoe even from the Mountain Tower. Staff is terrific - from the check-in desk to the parking valets. On the third day of our stay we had a leak from the room above and were given the keys to a suite within minutes. Close to everything - the gondola to Heavenly Valley is two blocks away. ...read more

The hotel and the staff were great and quickly resolved our room problem and placed us in another room immediately.

Our room was located in an older section of the hotel, right next to the elevator which we could hear at times. Our room was clean and very large but there were absolutely no amenities, such as a coffee pot, microwave, mini-bar or refrigerator. I think that price was great for the room and location but I know that other rooms in the property would have been more deluxe. Harvey's should not be rated a 4 star hotel. ...read more
