Super 8 San Francisco/Union Square Area

Cheap hotel, in a great part of town. We were only a few blocks away from everything we needed. I really liked the experience.

It is a fair hotel for a fair price. The room was not too bad, clean but small. There was a bad smell in the hallway one morning, which was unpleasant. If you want to save money in a very expensive city, stay here.

If you're looking for a low price hotel convenient to downtown and Union Square, you'll probably not find any better than this one. It's an older building, with small rooms. The carpets and furniture show some wear, but it is kept clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. It was clean, convenient and inexpensive considering it was one block from Union Square.

The room was small yet cozy. We really didn't spend too much time in there. Except to sleep and shower.

I requested a nonsmoking room, two nights through Priceline. The room was foul with smoke as was the rest of the building, there was no AC and the locks on the doors were broken from being broken into. The washroom was horrific. We left after one night. ...read more
