This hotel is located next to the Town Hall in the centre of historic Astorga, which lies on the crossroads between the Camino de Santiago and Vía de la Plata pilgrimage routes. The building is set around the ´Patio de Cristal´, which has a spectacular glass ceiling and serves as the venue for breakfast and a relaxed evening meeting place. In the Taberna Los Hornos beer house you can enjoy traditional home-cooked pleasures and some of the finest tapas in this city - a recommended stop-off point for those walking the Camino de Santiago and those who want to discover the natural and cultural charms of the regional towns of Maragatería.
Food & Beverage
The Taberna Los Hornos serves traditional home-made dishes and national and imported beers. Among its large variety of tapas, the "pulpo con cachelos" (octopus on a bed of cooked potatoes), the cured beef of Astorga, the cheese board and sausages typical to Maraga and the regional style fried eggs all come highly recommended. There is a pleasant exterior terrace for summer use.
